White Ash is very similar in graining to red oak. It is offered in a selected color sort providing a uniform pale cream coloration which is much lighter than oak.

Color Range:
White Ash varies greatly in color from a blond cream color to the darker tans and browns found closer to the heart of the tree. We offer Ash specially color selected for a uniform light cream color in the upper grades of our SingleStrip & ThinStrip lines. We also offer European Ash in our Tekno line which has the same appearance as American White Ash.

Color Change:
White Ash undergoes a medium degree of color change over time by ambering from a pale cream colored when freshly sanded to a more a straw tan color as it ages.

White Ash is used wherever a light colored floor with distinctive graining is desired and may be used residentially and commercially.
